I am trying to find more information about two ancestors. Christopher Lewis : 1776-1866, born Llanmadoc. Address Frog Lane, Llanmadoc, Gower. Master Mariner, Retired, and his son-in -law, John Lewis: June 1810-1859??, born Llanmadoc. Address Frog Lane, Llanmadoc, Gower Master Mariner to his death. Excellent site, so easy to use. Had hoped to find my Gt.Gt. grandfather William Fox born 1813 Swansea, Mariner and Pilot (Swansea), but had no luck, I did find his son Griffith Fox, Mariner and later a Harbour Pilot, Swansea. Also John Blackmore and Frederick Badcock who are related to the Fox family by marriage. Will keep looking in case other members of the family are posted at a later date. Would welcome any info. on my Fox family from other researchers. Best wishes, Bridget.
